Does White Rice increase Diabetes Risk?

Mar 15, 2012

This interesting study reinforces the fact that plain white rice has little nutritional value and may increase a persons overall blood sugar levels. (Glycemic Load) This study showed that Asian populations had the highest risk, and also ate the most white rice, while Western populations had a lower risk, eating the least amount of white rice.

(I also stress the avoidance of the FIVE WHITES;  White Alcohol (in pure form it's clear and in all alcoholic beverages), White Potatoes, White Bread, White Pasta (Semolina big culprit), White Rice, White Sugar.)
